Pop_OS maintains distinst crate. Currently our fork distinst version unmaintained and itʻs better to update this crate and adopt it
tldr; i kept supporting older version due to some major change that happened in the past. if my memory serves me right, it was more about like dropping or either switching to dbus mode or something else.
it would be even better to adopt disko and give up on imperative way of managing disks that would ensure more declarativity in terms of configuration management.
